Writing

I’m still here! I’ve just been busy.

During my absence between 2008 and 2011, few people seemed to know where I actually was. When I say “few people,” I mean the people from CNCNZ didn’t really know much of where I was. My family (as small as it is) most definitely did. I was in the Marines, a period of my life where things didn’t go great.

One spotlight of my time in the Marines was that I found plenty of downtime to write. And write I did. I always had a notebook I was filling out, writing about my feelings, writing about life, I guess. At first, I didn’t think it would turn into anything, until I found myself writing with purpose.

In January of 2010, I completed my first book. A feat I never thought I could possibly accomplish, I continued to write, completing my second book by March of that same year. In total, I wound up writing about 500 pages between November of 2009 and 2010, all in notebooks. These books were probably terrible, and frankly, I haven’t even re-read them in a long time. The notebooks sat in drawers, dressers, boxes, the backseat of my car, bookbags, and so on, until about a week ago, when I finally decided I was ready to write again. Taking the same ideas, I have decided to re-write the books I have already written (this time I’m typing them on the computer… writing by hand is exhausting!), and I intend on publishing them when they are complete.

Here’s to hoping it’s not another waste of a project.

Soon, I’ll be opening a new website which will be my publishing website!

So I’ve got this profile thing going now. Just testing it out. Won’t show my avatar…

Yeah, I fixed the avatar issue. I uploaded your image from other sites, I assume that was the one you were going for.

Are you still continuing your Lego projects? I haven’t seen an update for a while though.

Yep. I’ve always got something related to Lego in the works.

As it stands right now, I’ve got the Lego Terminator series, I’ve got these writing projects, I’ve got work I’m doing for W3D, and I’m now trying to learn UE4, since it recently became free.

But yes, still doing stop motion.
